Phyzite® 380
Phyzite 380 is a closed cell pre-formed expansion joint seal that is capable of moving in 25% tension, 50% compression and 50% +/- in shear. The material is commonly used as a water stop due to its ability to handle large amounts of hydrostatic pressure once installed. Phyzite 380 has a Hindered Amine Light Stabilizers added for improved resistance to Ultra Violet light. The material is commonly utilized in our Ceva line of expansion joint systems. Typical expansion joint applications for the material include bridges, water treatment facilities, parking garages, commercial buildings, industrial facilities, dams, and other structures that experience thermal or seismic movement. Due to its chemical resistance, additional applications include the use of the product in industrial environments were a 100% water tight gasket is required.

MetaZeal®
MetaZeal is a closed cell pre-formed expansion joint seal that is resistant to abrasion, most chemicals and weather. The material is capable of moving in 25% tension and 50% compression. Typical applications for Metazeal include arroyos, parking garages, commercial buildings & bridge joints. The material is recommended for use in applications subject to sustained temperatures over 150° F. MetalZeal may also be used with our ThermaZeal fire stopping system in lieu of MetaZeal FR in more dynamic applications.

MetaZeal® AJ
MetaZeal AJ is the original closed cell expansion joint with a proven track record in excess of 30 years. The material is capable of moving in 25% tension, 50% compression and 50%+/- in shear. The closed cell technology offers several competitive advantages over traditional neoprene systems. It does not require a uniform joint opening, is ideal for stage construction, is cost competitive and installs rapidly. When bonded in place, the material is 100% watertight and will withstand limited hydrostatic pressure.

Eva-Seal® 30
Eva-Seal 30 is a pre-formed closed cell foam used as a pressure relief joint and a forming material. When combined with our Terrastrip technology, EvaSeal is often cast in place, with the top strip being removed and a liquid or pre-formed seal being installed over the top of the material. EvaSeal is a lower cost alternative to our premium pre-formed expansion joint materials and is often used as a secondary seal or a primary seal in less demanding applications. Plastazote®
PLASTAZOTE is a closed cell, cross-linked polyethylene foam, produced from LD polyethylene. It is designed and recommended as a joint filler within the range of 20% tension and 40% compression when bonded to the substrates. It is a water impervious and chemical resistant joint filler material that is ideal for use in less dynamic expansion joints or as a pressure relief joint.

Installation Tools
The Z-5, Z10, and Z-15 installation tools increase installation rates of our pre-formed closed cell expansion joint seals. The Z-10 and Z-15 have been specially designed with flat bent heads that are extremely smooth. This allows the pre-formed closed cell seal to be compressed against the sides of the tools. The seal slides easily into the joint opening by reducing the friction created by the substrate. The Z-5 is a cylindrical tool with a special grip and cushioned ends. The cushioned end is used to recess the Evazote to the desired depth.
