TC® Enviroshield® Series
Proven Corrosion Protection for Pilings and Offshore Risers
Modular Marine Corrosion Protection System

The TC Enviroshield Series R module is designed for the maximum protection of offshore platform risers and lateral beams from the harsh marine environment. This easy field-applied modular system provides abrasion and corrosion pro-tection of existing and new marine structures. A tough outer abrasion-resistant jacket activates an en-capsulating environmentally-safe petrolatum with the tensioning of an easy-installation closure system. The TC Enviroshield allows for quick reinspection and easy accommodation of lateral braces, peripheral beams and weld-attached anodes. This easy field-applied protection can be installed in and out of the water on a wet or dry minimally prepared surface.

The TC Enviroshield Series R module is an easy field-applied maximum marine protection system. The Series R module provides proven corrosion protection, re-inspection capability, aesthetic appearance, accommodation for lateral braces and environmental sensitivity
Rapid Closure System with corrosion inhibiting petrolatum.
Piling Encapsulation
  • Factory assembled for field installation
  • Install on minimally prepared surface
  • Apply to wet, dry, or underwater surface
  • Inner petrolatum mat encapsulates and seals substrate
  • Tough multi-layer urethane outer jacket
  • Composite tensioning closure system forces petrolatum into pores of surface
  • No metal components
  • No hand tapping or exterior bands
  • RE-INSPECTABLE
  • Available in 5 ft. and 2.5 ft. length with a 3 in. overlap for longer requirements
TC® Enviroshield® Series
Proven Corrosion Protection for Pilings and Offshore Risers
Modular Marine Corrosion Protection System

The S Module protects square shaped piles and fluted mono piles. A multi-layer urethane outer jacket compresses a foam layer forcing a petrolatum inner mat into pores of the pile surface.

TC Enviroshield Series S Module seals the surface of square concrete piles and provides corrosion protection for fluted mono piles.
  • Utilizes the same inner mat, outer jacket, and closure system as the R module
  • Extra open-cell foam layer assures petrolatum mat continuous contact with flat pile or fluted surface
  • One-piece factory assembled module for easy field installation
  • RE-INSPECTABLE
TC® Enviroshield® Series
Proven Corrosion Protection for Pilings and Offshore Risers
Modular Marine Corrosion Protection System

The TC Marine borers have plagued mariners for centuries. In recent years their infestation has accelerated with the reduction of pollution in our waterways and harbors. The TC Enviroshield T Series module is an easy answer to this costly problem. This modular protection system is a permanent solution that stops borer infestation by restricting the flow of oxygenated water to timber pilings and marine wood.

TC Enviroshield Series T modules are designed with an abrasion-resistant outer jacket that incorporates a moldable gasket material. This field-applied marine protection can be installed in and out of the water on a minimally-prepared wet or dry surface.

TC Enviroshield Series T modules are designed to protect round, irregular and tapered timber pilings.
  • Eliminates the flow of oxygenated water to pile surface
  • Lowers the dissolved oxygen content of the water inside the pile wrap
  • Tapecoat's unique Moldable Sealant provides vertical, top and bottom seal
  • Flexible EPDM outer jacket is UV resistant, will not harden, become brittle or crack over time

Proven Corrosion Protection for Pilings and Offshore Risers
Modular Marine Corrosion Protection System
The TC Enviroshield Series H-Foam modules are designed for the maximum protection of steel H pilings from the harsh marine environment. This easy field-applied modular system provides abrasion and corrosion protection of existing and new marine structures. The H-Foam module utilizes a tough outer abrasion-resistant jacket that activates an encapsulating, environmentally-safe petrolatum with the tensioning of an easy install-ation closure system. TC Enviroshield Series modules allow for quick reinspection of protected steel H pilings. This easy field-applied marine protection system can be installed in and out of the water on a dry or wet minimally prepared steel surface.

The TC Enviroshield H-Foam modules are easy field-applied maximum marine protection systems. The TC Envirocoat provides proven corrosion protection, re-inspection capability, aesthetic appearance, accommodation for lateral braces and environmental sensitivity.
  • No exterior banding.
  • No extensive tape wrapping.
  • No awkward irregular transitions.
FOUR EASY H FOAM INSTALLATION STEPS:

STEP 1
Clean the marine growth from the piling. Prep with TC Enviroprime.

STEP 2
Form the petrolatum mat lining to the piling.

STEP 3
Insert the foam into the piling .

STEP 4
Wrap the piling with jacket and tighten closure clips with a pneumatic wrench

Modular Marine Corrosion Protection System

Problem:
ABRASION of PILE SURFACE
Movement of pile rollers wears away steel surface and coating.

Problem:
SPLASH ZONE CORROSION
Traditional coatings do not hold up in the splash zone.

Solution:
TAPECOAT TC Enviroshield Series M Module

A tough outer jacket surrounds and protects the non-toxic inner petrolatum mat.

OUTER JACKET
  • UV Stabilized
  • Impervious to marine borers
  • Low co-efficient of friction in any weather
  • Abrasion resistant - Better than stainless steel
  • Will not rot, absorb water, or leach chemicals
  • Virtually unbreakable, Impact resistant
  • Non-marking
INNER MAT
  • Superior protection against corrosion
  • Non-toxic petrolatum mat
  • Installed on minimally prepared surfaces
  • Protects wet or dry surfaces

Splash zone corrosion is compounded by the continual abrasion of the pile's steel surface by
tidal movement of the pile guide rollers.
  • More Abrasion resistant than steel
  • Maximum Corrosion Protection
  • Easy installation
  • Environment - Safe
  • Available in a wide variety of aesthetic colors.
